Conversations of 5 yr olds....

Kaitlynd: Sister how many friends do you have in class? I have four.
Kailee: I have lots of friends.
Kaitlynd: What's their names?
Kailee: There's Sonora....Jackson, Frankie, Jackie.....Jackie was my first friend, 'member Mommy?
Me: Uhh huh.....you met her the first day of school.
Kailee: Yeah, that's her.
Kaitlynd: You want to meet my friends, Sister?
Kailee: O'kay, only if you tell them my name, though.
Kaitlynd: I've already told my friends your name. My friend Samantha even gave me a cracker to give to you, but I ate it. (she says giggling)
Kailee: You ate it??? That wasn't very nice Sister.
Kaitlynd: I'm sorry sister.....but I couldn't put it in my lunchbag, because it was wet from my water bottle. (still giggling)
Kailee: What kind of cracker was it?
Kaitlynd: Cheese....it was good!
Kailee: Sister....next time don't eat my cracker....save it for me.
Kaitlynd: Okay Sister.....I won't eat it next time.
Kailee: G'night Sister.....love you.
Kaitlynd: Love you too Sister, G'night.

This is now.....

Hard to believe they were once small enough to bathe in a kitchen sink!!! Look at 'em now!!! As the old 'cliche' goes, "They Grow Up So Fast." My heart is overwhelmed with emotion as I take this "sentimental journey" down lifes highway.

That was then.....

So I was going through some old pictures of the girls & came across these....I just couldn't resist...I had to share!!! It's moments like these that make all the "twin-trouble"worthwhile!!!

Last Day....

This here is a picture sent to me, by my friend Lori in California, of the last day the girls had with their friends. Their friends took them to "Build a Bear". They each picked out an animal, which their California friends then stuffed with love & well wishes, as well as their voices, so the girls would always have a little part of their friends with them!!! Needless to say, we listened to their friends from California all the way to Alabama, telling us how much they missed & loved them!!! LOL I do know it made the transition for the girls a little easier, having those "stuffed friends" to cling too. We didn't make a stop, where those "furry friends" didn't go with us. As you can see my two are in the front (with said "furry friends") Kaitlynd & Kailee, then there is Jakob, Carrissa, Devyn, Maliyah, Kayla, Robbie, Marcus, & Randy is in the very back.
