Can You Smell It?

Spring is in the air....at least here in Mobile. The mornings are brisk, the days are bright & blue, the nights chilly. It's far cry from what we were experiencing Wednesday. I think that Spring is one of my favorite time of the year....other than having to do that "Spring Cleaning!" Although Big Daddy & I got a head start earlier in the week & cleaned out the garage...now it's time for the rest of the house. Guess I should get my schedule going....shampoo carpets, wash windows, clean out closets, etc. If we do little by little then it shouldn't be so bad....right? Do you "spring clean?" If you do what are some of your tips? What do you do at this time, that you don't do on a normal basis? Inquiring minds want to know....PLEASE SHARE!

Wet Wednesday

The rain is coming down hard.....lightening & thunder are booming in the skies....severe thunderstorm & tornado watches have been issued....Sweet Home Alabama!!! It's definitely one of those days where staying in bed is a GREAT IDEA....but with the girls home, it's kind of pointless. So instead of my curling up with the animals & reading a good book...I'll be dealing with "I'm bored, there's nothing to do!" Not too mention the arguements than will ensue throughout the day, because of nothing else better to do. Already my day has started out on the wrong foot, I'm trying to type with the keyboard at an angle, due to the shelf that rolls out & holds the keyboard is BROKE & no matter how many times we fix it, it still manages to fall off onto our knees. I'm thinking it's time for a new "desk" & has been for awhile, but coming up with money to purchase one, is like having monkeys fly out of my butt!!! All in due time I guess.
